1. Product Overview
Pleated filter bags are an upgraded version of traditional round dust collection bags. The filter media is pleated during processing, which significantly increases the effective filtration area for the same installation dimensions, resulting in higher dust removal efficiency and lower operating resistance. These products must be used with specialized pleated cages and are widely applied in flue gas dust control in industries such as cement, steel, power generation, waste incineration, chemicals, metallurgy, and coking.
2. Temperature Resistance Parameters for Common Materials
• Polyester with PTFE coating: 130°C (continuous), 150°C (short-term); commonly used in dry dust applications at ambient temperatures
• PPS with PTFE coating: 160–190°C (continuous); resistant to acidic flue gas; commonly used in power plants and waste incineration facilities
• Aramid (Nomex): Continuous 210°C, peak 240°C; suitable for high-temperature hard dust and blast furnace flue gas applications
• Basalt/glass fiber composite: Designed for ultra-high-temperature conditions with excellent flame-retardant properties
