    SSW4 Pneumatic Spinning Wrench is a kind of roller type pneumatic rotary tool, The Spinning Wrench conforms to API Spec. 7K. Which is used in marine and land drilling mechanized rotary operation. The scope of application is 31/2 ~ 10(in) drill pipe and drill collar, the utility model makes the screw thread operation safe and reliable, and reduces the Labor intensity of the drilling workers, and improves the hoisting and lowering speed.

    SSW4 Pneumatic Spinning Wrench consist of the following components:

  1. Handle/Grip: Provides a comfortable and secure grip for the operator.

  2. Adjustable Head: Accommodates various sizes of nuts and bolts.

  3. Torque Indicator: Some advanced spinning wrenches incorporate torque indicators to monitor the applied force and prevent over-tightening or under-tightening.

    Includes filter, lubricator and regulator assemblies, and 25' x 1-1/4" air hose with fittings.It can be adjusted whenever necessary. Using the proven principal of frictional drive contact, the spinning wrench can spin drill pipe in or out quickly and efficiently without damage to drill pipe and without the hazards of the dangerous spinning chain.

Operating Principle:

    SSW4 Pneumatic Spinning Wrench operate the air valve with air spring to make the wheel compress the drill pipe; control the air motor valve handle, control the air motor valve handle, and start the left and right motors. The motors drive respective drive wheel through left and right reductin units. Due to the friction torque, the drill pipe rotates, and the pipe screw thread rotates in or out.

    The wrench’s spinning procedure is as follows: first position the wrench vertically to a joint about 11.8-19.7 inch, or just about the upset, the wrench is now swung onto pipe and it’s four drive rollers on the head clamp the pipe. Turn on air valve of air spring, to make rollers upon drill pipe, then push/pull the handle of air motors valve. Left and right motors work, and drive rollers rotate through its reducer mechanism. Drill pipe rotates for its friction. So drill pipe joint will be spinned in or out. The opening of wrench can adapt pipes of different diameters through adjustment without need for exchange of wheel, which makes manufacturing, application and maintenance more convenient.
