The ZASP Suprema RB-SM501-1000 is designed for hostile vehicle mitigation at high-security entrances. Unlike conventional road blockers that demand a deep pit, this model uses a low-depth foundation, making it ideal for city-center sites, underground parking entrances, and locations where drainage pipes, cables, or rock formations make deep excavation impossible.

Applications
The RB-SM501-1000 is widely deployed at government buildings, bases, embassies, airports, power plants, data centers, logistics parks, and cash-in-transit routes. Combined with rising bollards, tyre killers, and barrier gates, it forms a complete vehicle access control system that filters authorized traffic and stops hostile vehicles.

ZASP road blockers are crash tested according to international standards including IWA 14-1 and PAS 68, and certified to ISO 22343, providing verifiable anti-ram performance for tender documents.
Working Principle
When a vehicle approaches, the loop detector triggers the control system; the hydraulic power unit drives the cylinders to raise the interception plate from its flush position to full height in seconds. After authorization, the plate lowers back flush with the road surface to allow free passage. A duplex pump station option keeps the blocker operational even during maintenance.
