Tunnel Kiln Structure
Main Components
Kiln Body: Main structural part with elongated passage containing tracks or rollers to support and move green bricks
Preheating Zone: Initial zone where temperature gradually increases to remove moisture from bricks
Firing Zone: Core area with highest temperature where bricks are sintered
Cooling Zone: Area where fired bricks are gradually cooled to unloading temperature
Combustion System: Provides required firing heat including burners, fuel supply, and exhaust systems
Ventilation System: Controls internal airflow for complete combustion and uniform temperature distribution
Drive System: Moves green bricks through kiln using motors, chain drives, or roller drive devices
