Technical Description
The excavator travel gearbox (also called travel reducer) is a core component that reduces speed and increases torque of the high-speed, low-torque power output by the hydraulic motor through multi-stage gear (usually spur, helical, or planetary gear set) meshing transmission. It integrates gear shafts, bearings, seals, and lubriing oil circuits inside, which can accurately transmit power to the drive wheels. At the same time, it realizes the machine's parking or slow descent through the braking mechanism, ensuring walking stability under complex working conditions. Its sealing system can effectively isolate sediment and water, preventing internal gear rust or wear and extending service life.
