The Sun Hydraulic Valve CWEG-LGN is a high-performance counterbalance valve manufactured by Sun Hydraulics in the United States. It belongs to the screw-in cartridge valve series. It also functions as a direct-acting, pilot-assisted relief valve, controlling flow from port 1 to port 2. The CWEG-LGN counterbalance valve uses a pilot-assisted function at port 3 to reduce the effective relief setting by the pilot ratio. Because the spring chamber is vented to the external port (port 4), back pressure at port 2 does not affect the valve setting.
