Centered on "heavy-load strong pull + wireless convenience + safety durability", the YD30-007 12V 3000LBS Wireless Remote ATV Electric Winch is optimized to address the pain points of medium-heavy outdoor traction scenarios, such as "insufficient power, limited operation, and multiple safety hazards". Its core highlights are as follows:
Equipped with a 1.1kw (1.4hp) fully sealed permanent magnet motor, it has a 57% higher power than the 0.7kw model in the same series, with a rated pull force of 3000LBS (1361kg). In actual tests, it can easily pull a 250kg ATV (with driver) + 100kg equipment trapped in mud. After 20 minutes of continuous traction, the motor surface temperature is only 55℃ (below the 70℃ safety threshold), with no overload risk. Meanwhile, the motor’s low-current design allows it to work with the ATV’s 12V battery—vehicle idling can replenish power, preventing battery depletion, and the vehicle can still start normally after rescue.
Adopting a 190:1 planetary gear reduction mechanism, the motor torque is amplified by 190 times. Even when pulling a 1361kg heavy load, the steel cable retracts and releases at a stable speed of 1.0m/min, with no "jitter" or "runaway" caused by load fluctuations. For example, when pulling a 1200kg small truck, the wireless remote control can be used to fine-tune the retraction/release speed, accurately controlling the vehicle’s movement path and avoiding collisions with surrounding obstacles—suitable for operations in narrow spaces.
Equipped with a wireless remote control kit, the remote control distance is ≥20m, supporting 360° dead-angle-free control. Operators can stand in a safe area (away from the traction path and potential dangers) to complete operations. For example, during ATV trapped rescue, operators can stand 20 meters away to observe the trapped situation and precisely control the steel cable retraction/release via the remote control—no need for close-range operation, avoiding injuries caused by vehicle shaking or steel cable breakage. The remote control is equipped with 2 rechargeable lithium batteries, each with a battery life of ≥8 hours, and a USB charger is included for outdoor emergency charging.
- In-Drum Automatic Braking: Whether the cable is retracted/released with power or suddenly powered off, the braking mechanism locks the drum instantly as long as the steel cable is under tension. For example, when lifting 600kg of construction materials, if the power is suddenly cut off, the braking system locks within 0.1 seconds, keeping the materials suspended in mid-air without sliding—solving the pain point of traditional winches that "require manual locking and are prone to errors";
- Circuit Overload Protection: The power connection cable has a built-in 25A fuse. If there is a short circuit or current exceeds 70A, the fuse blows instantly to protect the motor and vehicle battery; the motor has a built-in temperature sensor and will automatically shut down when the temperature exceeds 70℃, and can restart after cooling down;
- Steel Cable Anti-Drop Design: The end of the steel cable is equipped with an anti-drop limit block to prevent the cable from slipping off the drum during retraction; the drum surface is anti-slip treated to reduce friction loss during steel cable winding and extend service life.
- Main Body Protection: The aluminum alloy shell can withstand a 15kg heavy object falling from 1.5m height, resulting in only slight surface scratches and no deformation or structural damage; 20CrNiMo alloy gears undergo carburizing and quenching (hardness HRC 60-62), and after 100 consecutive tractions of 1361kg heavy objects, the tooth surface wear is only 0.03mm, with a service life of over 15,000 load operations;
- Environmental Adaptation: The motor has an IP55 protection rating—rainwater and sand cannot penetrate the motor interior during rainy outdoor operations; the galvanized steel cable has a zinc layer thickness of ≥10μm, showing no rust after 3 years of use in outdoor humid and salty environments, with a service life twice that of ordinary steel cables.
With an overall weight of 8kg and a size of 299×100×105mm, it can be installed by 2 people; the 76mm standard hole spacing is compatible with most ATV and UTV bumpers, and it can be fixed with M8×25mm bolts from the accessory kit without additional drilling. The attached graphic manual marks the installation steps, wiring methods, and remote control pairing process—even without mechanical installation experience, you can complete installation and debugging in 20 minutes by following the instructions.
Scenario Requirement: During outdoor off-roading, a 250kg ATV (with driver) + 100kg equipment is trapped in sand or mud. No large rescue equipment is available, so rapid traction rescue is needed. Operators must stay away from dangerous areas to avoid injuries.
Operation Process:
- Installation & Pairing: Fix the winch to the ATV front bumper (76mm hole spacing) with accessory bolts, connect the red power cable to the battery positive terminal and the black one to the negative terminal; turn on the remote control and receiver power to complete automatic pairing (pairing time ≤3 seconds);
- Traction Preparation: Control "cable release" via the wireless remote control to pull out the 10.5m steel cable, hang the hook on a tree or rock 15 meters ahead, then control "cable retraction" to tighten the cable;
- Rescue Operation: Press the "cable retraction" button on the remote control—the winch pulls the ATV with the 190:1 reduction ratio, and the trapped vehicle can be pulled out of the sand within 20 seconds. If direction adjustment is needed, press the "pause" button, and the braking system automatically locks the steel cable; continue operation after adjustment;
Result: Compared to the traditional "manual pushing + shovel digging", the rescue time is shortened from 1 hour to 5 minutes. Operators stand in a safe area 20 meters away with no injury risk, adapting to complex off-road scenarios such as deserts, mudflats, and mountains.
Scenario Requirement: A camping team needs to move a 1000kg camping trailer (with tents, kitchenware, and supplies) from the parking lot to a campsite 80 meters away (with a 15° slope). There is no municipal power at the campsite, so it must rely on the ATV battery for power, and the trailer must be prevented from sliding.
Operation Process:
- Fixing & Wiring: Fix the winch to the fixed pile at the campsite entrance, connect it to the ATV 12V battery (via an extended power cable);
- Trailer Traction: Control "cable release" via the remote control, connect the 10.5m steel cable to the trailer’s tow ring, and slowly "retract the cable" to pull the trailer along the slope; the in-drum automatic braking prevents the trailer from sliding due to the slope—even if paused halfway, the trailer remains stable;
- Precise Positioning: After reaching the designated location in the campsite, fine-tune "cable retraction" and "release" via the remote control to park the trailer precisely in a flat area; the braking system locks after power-off to prevent trailer displacement;
Result: Replacing the traditional "multi-person pushing + wooden block anti-slip", the handling efficiency is increased by 95%. No additional labor is needed—one person can complete the operation, adapting to outdoor camping heavy-load handling scenarios.
Scenario Requirement: A farm needs to pull a 1200kg small harvester to a warehouse 30 meters away, and a construction site needs to lift 600kg of steel bars to a 5-meter-high construction platform. The site is narrow, so large machinery cannot be used. The tool must be lightweight and flexible to operate.
Operation Process:
- Agricultural Machinery Traction: Install the winch sideways on the bracket of a small tractor, connect it to the tractor’s 12V battery, and hook the steel cable to the harvester’s tow ring; "retract the cable" via the remote control to pull the harvester to the warehouse at a constant speed. The 190:1 reduction ratio ensures stable traction, preventing the agricultural machinery from bumping due to uneven ground;
- Material Lifting: Install the winch on the construction platform bracket, tie the steel cable to the steel bar basket; press the "cable retraction" button on the remote control to lift the steel bars to the platform at a speed of 1.0m/min. The braking system locks after power-off, allowing workers to unload safely;
Result: No multi-person collaboration is needed—one person can complete heavy-load traction and lifting, avoiding muscle strains caused by manual handling. The operation efficiency is increased by 90%, adapting to farms, small construction sites, and other scenarios.
A1: It can pull safely with no overload or depletion risk. When a small truck is trapped on ordinary ground, the actual resistance is approximately 1.1-1.2 times its own weight (the resistance of a 1200kg truck is approx. 1320-1440kg), which is close to but not exceeding the 1361kg rated pull force (with a 5% safety margin). The motor has built-in overload protection and will automatically shut down if the pull force exceeds 10% of the rated value (i.e., 1497kg) to avoid burnout. Meanwhile, the motor working current is ≤70A, and the ATV battery outputs approx. 80A at idle, which can replenish power in real time. After 10 minutes of continuous traction, the battery voltage only drops by 0.2V, and the vehicle can still start normally after rescue.
A2: The signal is stable in most scenarios; wired control can be switched to if interrupted.
- Signal Guarantee: The remote control uses a 2.4GHz wireless frequency band with strong penetration. It can maintain stable control within 15 meters even with 1-2 trees/rocks blocking. If there are too many obstacles, move to an unobstructed area or ask a partner to hold the remote control close to the receiver (distance ≤10 meters);
- Backup Plan: The product is equipped with a 3m wired handle. If the wireless signal is completely interrupted, disconnect the receiver power, connect the wired handle, and switch to wired control to ensure uninterrupted operation. It is recommended to test the remote control signal coverage before outdoor operations.
A3: Tangling can be resolved by rewinding, and daily maintenance should focus on lubrication and rust prevention.
- Adjustment Method: ① Press the "cable release" button to fully release the steel cable and clean debris on the drum surface; ② Keep the steel cable tight, press the "cable retraction" button, and gently guide the steel cable by hand to wind it evenly along the drum axis (avoid overlapping). If deviation occurs during retraction, adjust the guiding direction in time; if tangling is severe, first manually untangle the tangled part before rewinding;
- Daily Maintenance: Wipe dust and oil on the steel cable surface with a dry cloth every month, and apply special steel cable lithium-based grease (thickness 1-2mm)—avoid using engine oil, which easily absorbs sediment. If the steel cable has slight rust, gently polish it with 1200-grit fine sandpaper and then apply grease. Replace the cable in time when the number of broken wires in one lay length reaches ≥5.
A4: Preheat and check the equipment before low-temperature use to avoid malfunctions.
- Motor Preheating: If the ambient temperature is below -20℃, connect the power supply and let the motor idle for 10 seconds (without pulling heavy objects) to preheat the grease inside the motor. Start traction operations only when the motor temperature rises above -10℃ to avoid insufficient startup torque due to low temperatures;
- Remote Control Maintenance: The battery life of the remote control will be shortened at low temperatures. It is recommended to fully charge the battery in advance and carry a spare battery. If the remote control is unresponsive, check whether the battery is installed correctly or replace it with a spare battery, and ensure the receiver power connection is normal;
- Braking Inspection: The grease in the braking system may solidify at low temperatures. Before use, pull the steel cable manually to check if the braking is flexible. If it jams, apply low-temperature special grease (resistant to -40℃) to the braking mechanism to ensure the braking response time is ≤0.1 seconds.
