The YD06-012 20-Ton Frame Welded Shop Press is an industrial-grade heavy-duty device focusing on "high rigidity, high safety, and high flexibility". Specifically designed for medium-to-heavy processing and maintenance scenarios, it relies on its welded frame structure, side-movable press head, and comprehensive safety configurations. It is suitable for heavy machinery factories, large auto repair shops, steel structure processing plants, and other scenarios requiring both equipment strength and operational flexibility. It can efficiently complete diversified operations such as pressing, straightening, shaping, and assembly.
In terms of core performance and structure, the welded frame is the core advantage of the equipment: the integral welding process increases the rigidity of the machine body by more than 40%, with excellent deformation resistance. The machine body shows no obvious shaking during 20-ton rated pressure operations, avoiding processing accuracy issues caused by frame deformation. The liquid-filled pressure gauge provides precise guarantee for pressure control. Compared with ordinary pressure gauges, it is less affected by temperature and vibration, with a pressure reading error controlled within ±2%. Operators can grasp the pressing force in real time to prevent workpiece damage due to overpressure or substandard processing caused by insufficient pressure.
In terms of operational flexibility and safety configurations, the side-movable press head breaks the limitation of traditional fixed press heads. During processing, there is no need to frequently move large workpieces; the press head position can be adjusted to adapt to workpieces of different sizes, which is especially suitable for long and irregular workpieces (such as mechanical connecting rods and automobile chassis crossbeams), improving operational efficiency by 30%. The standard protective guard can isolate the operating area during high-pressure operations, preventing safety accidents caused by workpiece splashing or accidental falling of hydraulic components. The combination V-block can accurately fix irregular workpieces such as cylindrical and tubular parts, avoiding workpiece displacement during processing. The self-lock winch facilitates auxiliary handling of heavy workpieces to the worktable, reducing manual handling intensity and the risk of work-related injuries.
In terms of size and weight, the overall size of 1665×820×750mm makes it a large-scale equipment, but the 490mm-wide worktable (derived from similar product parameters) can stably carry large-sized workpieces. The 140kg gross weight ensures strong stability when the equipment is placed, making it suitable for long-term use in fixed workstations. The packing size of 1800×810×340mm allows for overall transportation, and later deployment requires auxiliary small lifting equipment, making it suitable for heavy-duty processing scenarios with fixed production processes.
III. Application Scenarios
Heavy Steel Structure Shaping Scenario: Suitable for bending and shaping of thick steel plates (25-40mm thick) and short I-beam sections. For example, in steel structure processing plants, the 20-ton pressure of the equipment is used to bend thick steel plates into specific radians for large workshop support columns and equipment brackets. The welded frame withstands high pressure without deformation, and the side-movable press head adapts to processing at different positions of long steel plates. The liquid-filled pressure gauge precisely controls pressure to ensure shaping accuracy meets installation standards.
Automotive Chassis Heavy Component Maintenance Scenario: Used for straightening and repairing deformed components such as automobile chassis longitudinal beams and suspension arms. In large auto repair shops, deformed components are fixed on the worktable, and the self-lock winch assists in handling to avoid component damage caused by manual handling. The side-movable press head accurately positions the deformed point, and the 20-ton high pressure combined with V-block fixation quickly restores the flatness of the component. The protective guard ensures the safety of operators and reduces safety hazards during maintenance.
Large Machinery Bearing Press-Fitting Scenario: For interference fit assembly of heavy bearings (with a diameter of more than 120mm), bushings, and machine bodies. In heavy machinery factories, after aligning the bearing and the machine body, the equipment is started to adjust the pressing position through the side-movable press head. The 160mm cylinder stroke adapts to installation requirements of different depths. The liquid-filled pressure gauge monitors pressure in real time to prevent damage to the machine body bearing seat due to overpressure, improving the success rate and accuracy of heavy bearing press-fitting.
Agricultural Machinery Large Component Repair Scenario: Used for shaping heavy components such as gearbox housings and drive axle housings of tractors and harvesters. In agricultural machinery repair shops, for gearbox housings deformed after long-term use, the high rigidity of the welded frame is used to apply pressure to different positions of the housing through the side-movable press head. Combined with V-block fixation, the housing deformation is repaired, avoiding high costs caused by component replacement, and ensuring the sealing performance and assembly accuracy of the repaired components.
IV. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
(I) What to Do If the Press Head Gets Stuck When Moving Left and Right and Cannot Be Adjusted Smoothly?
First, check if there are impurities or oil stains on the surface of the press head guide rail. Wipe it clean with a cloth dipped in industrial cleaner. If there are slight scratches on the guide rail surface, polish it smooth with fine sandpaper to avoid impurities or scratches hindering the movement of the press head.
Check the lubrication of the guide rail. If lubrication is insufficient, apply lithium-based grease to the sliding part of the guide rail, ensuring uniform lubrication to reduce friction resistance. Be careful not to apply excessive grease to prevent oil stains from contaminating the workpiece.
If the above operations are ineffective, check if the fastening bolts of the press head moving mechanism are loose. Tighten the bolts one by one with a torque wrench. If the bolts are stripped, replace them with high-strength bolts of the same model to avoid press head deviation and jamming caused by loose bolts.
(II) How to Handle Inaccurate Readings of the Liquid-Filled Pressure Gauge with Large Deviation from Actual Pressure?
Check if the pressure gauge is affected by severe vibration. Although the liquid-filled pressure gauge has strong vibration resistance, long-term severe vibration will cause disorder of the internal liquid column. Turn off the equipment power, let it stand for 30 minutes, and then recalibrate. If the reading still deviates, compare it with a standard pressure gauge and fine-tune it through the calibration knob on the top of the pressure gauge until the readings are consistent.
Check if there is leakage in the pressure gauge connecting pipeline. If there is oil seepage at the joint, replace the gasket and re-tighten it. Leakage will cause pressure transmission distortion and affect reading accuracy.
If the pressure gauge has been used for more than 1 year, its internal components may be aged. Replace it with an original liquid-filled pressure gauge of the same range to avoid pressure detection deviation caused by using non-original accessories, which affects processing accuracy.
(III) Why Does the Self-Lock Winch Fail to Self-Lock and Slip Backward When Pulling Workpieces?
Check if the brake pads of the winch are worn or oily. If the brake pads are severely worn, replace them with brake pads of the same specification; if there is oil stain, wipe it clean with alcohol to ensure sufficient friction between the brake pads and the brake wheel to avoid slipping.
Check if the winch wire rope is broken or worn. If the wire rope is damaged, replace it with a new one to prevent the wire rope from breaking and causing the workpiece to fall during pulling.
Check if the brake spring of the winch is loose. If the spring elasticity is insufficient, replace it with a new spring to ensure the brake mechanism can fit tightly and achieve reliable self-locking, avoiding brake failure caused by loose springs.
(IV) How to Troubleshoot Slight Abnormal Noise from the Frame During Equipment Operation While Pressure Output Is Normal?
Check if there are cracks in the welded part of the frame. If slight cracks are found, stop using the equipment immediately, contact professionals for welding repair to avoid crack expansion leading to frame fracture. After welding repair, a pressure test is required to confirm no problems before continuing to use.
Check if the connecting bolts between the frame and the worktable are loose. Tighten the bolts one by one with a wrench. Loose bolts will cause relative displacement between the frame and the worktable during high-pressure operations, resulting in abnormal noise. After tightening, test the equipment operation status.
Confirm whether the workpiece is placed in the center. If the workpiece deviates from the center of the worktable, uneven force on the frame during high-pressure operations will cause abnormal noise. Adjust the workpiece position to the central area of the worktable to ensure uniform pressure transmission and reduce abnormal noise caused by excessive local force on the frame.
