The Y83 Series Hydraulic Metal Briquetting Press is a professional heavy-duty equipment specifically designed for processing various metal chips generated during industrial manufacturing processes. According to our product manual technical specifications, this machine utilizes advanced hydraulic technology to compress loose metal scraps - including cast iron chips, steel chips, aluminum chips, and other non-ferrous metal residues - into high-density, regularly shaped briquettes. The compression process not only reduces the volume of metal waste by up to 5:1 but also creates uniform briquettes that are ideal for transportation, storage, and most importantly, for direct melting in furnaces.
This briquetting press series features a robust construction with a high-strength steel frame that ensures stability during operation. The heart of the machine is its powerful hydraulic system, which delivers consistent pressure ranging from 250 to 630 tons across different models (Y83-250 to Y83-630). This tremendous force enables the equipment to process metal chips efficiently, transforming them into compact briquettes with diameters from Ø110mm to Ø180mm, as specified in our technical documentation.
