The Y83-315 Metal Briquetting Press is a high-efficiency hydraulic forming equipment designed specifically for processing various loose metal scraps generated during metalworking processes, such as cast iron chips, steel chips, aluminum chips, and copper chips. This machine applies extreme pressure via a powerful hydraulic system to cold-press loose, space-consuming, and difficult-to-transport metal scraps into high-density, uniform cylindrical or rectangular briquettes. The resulting briquettes are dense, strong, and will not break apart during transportation. This process significantly reduces storage and transportation costs while dramatically improving charging efficiency and metal recovery rates in smelting processes like steelmaking and foundry operations. It is the ideal pre-treatment equipment for metal resource recovery and recycling.
Q1: Which metal materials is this equipment suitable for?
A: It is widely suitable for various metal scraps, including cast iron chips, steel chips, stainless steel chips, aluminum chips, copper chips, and bronze chips.
Q2: Does it support automated operation?
A: Yes. The core of the machine uses a PLC control system, supporting fully automatic cycling (including automatic feeding with a conveyor, pressing, and ejection). A manual mode is also provided for debugging and maintenance.
Q3: What is the density of the briquettes? Can they be used directly for smelting?
A: The briquette density is significantly higher than that of loose scraps (see specifications for details). The formed briquettes have uniform density and can be charged directly into a smelting furnace, effectively reducing melt loss and increasing melting speed.
