Expert Maintenance
The Contamination Rule: In a 400-ton machine, a single piece of debris the size of a grain of sand can score a spool and ruin the entire valve block. Hydraulic hygiene is the #1 priority for the 90774240 series valves.
Pilot Pressure Stability: Always check the pilot oil pressure before condemning a main control valve. Often, "sluggish" behavior is caused by a failing pilot pump rather than the main valve block.
