Professional Maintenance & Installation Tips
A travel motor on a wheeled excavator operates under significantly different thermal conditions than a crawler motor. Proper installation is critical to prevent immediate failure.
Case Drain Pressure Monitoring: Before installing the new 291-3711 motor, ensure the case drain line is completely clear. Excessive back-pressure in the case drain is the leading cause of blown shaft seals on wheeled excavators.
