Expert Maintenance Guidance
Inspect Drain Lines: Periodically check the case drain hoses for kinks, wear, or blockages. Restricted flow can create back pressure that damages motor seals or internal rotating groups.
Use Correct Gear Oil: Always fill the planetary housing with the recommended extreme-pressure gear oil. Under normal operation, replace it every 250-500 hours; reduce the interval to 250 hours for severe duty cycles. Watch for metal particles in drained oil as an early warning sign of component wear.
Replace Mounting Bolts: When reinstalling, use new bolts of the correct grade, apply thread locking compound, and torque to factory specifications to withstand continuous vibration and shock loads.
Prime Before Use: After installation or service, fill the housing with clean hydraulic oil, run the machine at low idle, and cycle the tracks in both directions to purge air and fully lubricate all planetary components.
