Product Description:
Air filter element is a type of filter, also known as air filter cartridge, air filter, style, etc. Mainly used for air filtration in engineering locomotives, automobiles, agricultural locomotives, laboratories, sterile operating rooms, and various precision operating rooms.
According to their structural differences, air filter elements can be divided into air coarse filter elements and air fine filter elements. The air coarse filter elements include flat-type air coarse filter elements, axial-sealed type and radial-sealed type air coarse filter elements. The flat-type air coarse filter element is composed of front and rear metal mesh sheets, middle pleated filter paper, and outer sealing rubber gasket. It is generally square and is used for large specialized engines; the axial-sealed type and radial-sealed type air coarse filter elements are composed of inner and outer metal filters, middle pleated filter paper, upper and lower end covers, and sealing rings. They are generally circular. The air fine filter element is also circular and is used in conjunction with the coarse filter element. It is composed of inner and outer metal filters, middle pleated filter paper, end covers, fixing covers and screws.
Features:
1. Low intake resistance
The filter element needs to balance between "high-efficiency filtration" and "not hindering intake". In the design, methods such as "folded filter paper structure" (increasing the filtration area) and "low-resistance filter materials" (such as microporous filter paper, composite fibers) are used to ensure that the resistance is controlled within the acceptable range of the equipment (such as for car engines, the filter resistance should be ≤ 2 kPa) to avoid engine power reduction and increased fuel consumption due to insufficient intake, or affecting the air circulation efficiency of precision equipment.
2. Certain dust storage capacity
The filter element is not "intercept and then clog", but has the ability to "store impurities" - that is, from the start of use to reaching the "final resistance" (the critical resistance for replacement), the total amount of dust that the filter element can accumulate. The stronger the dust storage capacity, the longer the service life of the filter element (for example, automotive air filters usually can store 50-100g of dust, corresponding to a replacement cycle of 10,000 - 15,000 kilometers), reducing the inconvenience of frequent replacements.
