Product Description
The Bosch Rexroth DR20-5-5X/200YM (R900597233) is a high-performance industrial hydraulic valve designed for reliable pressure reduction to a predetermined setting. This mechanically actuated spool valve, identified by its spool symbol B A, is pilot-operated and comes equipped with an NBR seal, making it suitable for use with a range of hydraulic fluids including HL, HLP, HLPD, HVLP, HVLPD, and HFC. The DR20-5-5X/200YM valve features a maximum pressure capacity and supports a maximum flow rate. It is designed for subplate mounting with connection diagram compliant to ISO standards. The valve includes multiple ports and offers mechanical actuation. The weight of the unit is specified to ensure proper handling and installation. This pressure reducing valve operates on the principle that in its rest position, it allows unrestricted flow from channel B to channel A via the main spool insert.
The pressure in channel A is balanced against a spring setting in the pilot control valve to achieve the desired reduced pressure. An external pilot oil return ensures continuous operation. For applications requiring free return flow from channel A to channel B, an optional check valve can be installed. Additionally, the valve features a pressure gauge connection for monitoring the reduced pressure in channel A. The Bosch Rexroth DR20-5-5X/200YM offers various adjustment types such as rotary knob and sleeve with hexagon and protective cap options. It can also be ordered with or without a lockable rotary knob with scale or just a rotary knob with scale depending on user preference or application requirement. This versatility combined with robust construction makes it an ideal choice for various hydraulic applications where precise pressure reduction is essential.
