The working principle of the vane pump is based on its unique structure and mode of movement. Vane pump is mainly composed of stator, rotor, blade, pump body and end cover. The inner surface of the stator is approximately elliptical, the rotor is provided with a slot, the blade is placed in the slot and can slide along the slot. When the rotor rotates, the blade is pressed to the inner surface of the stator due to centrifugal phenomenon, and with the change of the inner surface curve of the stator, the blade is forced to slide reciprocally in the groove, so that the closed volume formed by the adjacent two blades increases or decreases.
The difference between single acting and double acting vane pumps is the number of oil suction and oil pressure processes. The single-acting vane pump completes one oil suction and oil pressure process with each rotation of the rotor, while the double-acting vane pump completes two oil suction and oil pressure processes with each rotation of the rotor. This difference is mainly due to the difference in the shape of the stator surface and the difference in the rotation mode of the rotor.
