Description: Francis turbine is the most common turbine in use today. Francis turbine is most suitable for hydropower stations with medium and high water heads ranging from 10-300 m. They have vertical or horizontal axis arrangement, and can be widely selected by hydropower stations. It is characterized in that the water flow enters the runner radially inward, gradually changes its direction, and then flows out axially. Francis turbine is characterized by reliable operation, simple structure and high efficiency. Francis runner manufactured by Hydoru has good efficiency and cavitation performance. Scope of application: They operate within a water head range of 10 to 300 meters and are mainly used for power production. The range of power output is usually 100KW to 750MW. Generally, medium and large Francis turbines are usually equipped with vertical shafts, while small Francis turbines are usually equipped with horizontal shafts, but this is not absolute. We use horizontal mixer with capacity less than 7MW. The vertical Francis capacity is less than 20MW.
