We are a specialist precision metal chemical etching manufacturer, dedicated to producing high-quality metal bipolar plates for fuel cells and other high-end industrial applications. Our standard production utilises stainless steel 316 and ultra-thin titanium materials, ensuring products possess excellent electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength. Additionally, we offer bespoke services, accommodating other metallic materials such as aluminium to meet your specific requirements across diverse application scenarios.
|
| Material: | Stainless steel 316, ultra-thin titanium, aluminium alloy (customisable) |
| Thickness Range: | 0.025mm -1.0mm (titanium and stainless steel) |
| Dimensional Accuracy: | ±0.02mm, meeting high-precision design requirements |
| Surface Treatment: | Gold plating, platinum plating, passivation, nitriding, and other treatments available to enhance corrosion resistance and conductivity |
| Processing Techniques: | Encompassing precision chemical etching, laser cutting, diffusion welding, and more, ensuring complex and uniform channel structures |
Advantages of Etching Technology:
Compared to traditional stamping or mechanical engraving, chemical etching offers distinct benefits:
Step 1 Selecting materialPhotochemical etching can be apllied almost any sheet metal, like stainless steel, copper, nickel, titanium, aluminium etc. Select the material according to customer's requests.
|
Step 2 Cleaning the materialClean the sheet metals which has been cut. This step is to remove the oil stains on the surface.
|
Step 3 LaminationA (UV) light-sensitive photoresist is applied onto the surface of the metal substrate. It can protect the metals which are not be etched.
|
Step 4 ExposingThe stencil film is placed over the photoresist-coated metal substrate. The design is transferred to the photoresist by exposing the sheet to UV light through a stencil film.
|
Step 5 DevelopingThis step removes the unexposed areas of the photoresist, leaving behind a patterned layer corresponding to the desired part design.
|
Step 6 EtchingThe metal substrate is then immersed in an etchant solution, which chemically dissolves the exposed metal areas not protected by the developed photoresist.
|
Step 7 StrippingOnce the etching is complete, the remaining photoresist is removed from the metal surface, typically through a stripping process.
|
Step 8 inspectionUse image measuring imstrument to check the appearance and dimension.
|
Step 9 finishingThe resulting part may undergo additional finishing steps such as deburring, cleaning, and surface treatment to achieve the desired final properties and appearance.
|
Via photo chemical etching processing the material ,thickness and size we can produce as following
| Material | Thickness | Size |
| STEEL AND STAINLESS STEELS | 0.01mm – 1.5mm | 650mm x 1800mm |
| NICKEL AND NICKEL ALLOYS | 0.01mm – 1.5mm | 600mm x 1500mm |
| COPPER AND COPPER ALLOYS | 0.01mm – 1.5mm | 600mm x 1500mm |
| ALUMINIUM | 0.01mm – 1.5mm | 600mm x 1500mm |
| TITANIUM AND TITANIUM ALLOYS | 0.01mm – 1mm |
600mm x 550mm |
