Xinhaisen Technology specializes in manufacturing high-performance etched metal plate heat exchangers through advanced chemical etching technology. Our precision-etched plates enable superior thermal transfer efficiency with optimized flow channels for various industrial applications.

Manufacturing Process
Our PCHEs are crafted through a state-of-the-art, multi-stage precision process:

  • Design & Prototyping: We create digital designs of the intricate flow channel patterns based on your thermal and hydraulic specifications.

  • Precision Metal Etching: Using our proprietary chemical etching technology, we precisely etch these complex, micrometer-scale flow channels onto thin metal plates (known as platesheets). This method ensures flawless, burr-free channels without stress or material deformation.

  • Stacking & Alignment: The etched plates are meticulously cleaned and stacked in an alternating sequence to form the hot and cold fluid layers.

  • Diffusion Bonding: The entire stack is placed in a vacuum furnace and subjected to high temperature and pressure. This causes the atoms at the contact surfaces to diffuse, permanently bonding the plates into a single, solid, monolithic block with exceptional strength and integrity.

  • Finishing & Testing: The bonded block is machined to final dimensions, and ports/headers are attached. Each unit undergoes rigorous pressure, leak, and performance testing to meet or exceed industry standards.

  • High Efficiency: Complex, optimized flow channel designs (e.g., zigzag, straight, or finned) maximize heat transfer.

  • Superior Pressure & Temperature Resistance: Monolithic, all-metal construction allows operation at very high pressures (often >500 bar) and temperatures (cryogenic to 900°C).

  • Wide Material Compatibility: Can be etched and bonded from stainless steels (304, 316L), nickel alloys (Inconel 600/625), titanium, and other special alloys for corrosion resistance.

  • Customizable Designs: Flow patterns, port locations, and overall geometry can be fully customized for specific application needs.

  • Reliability & Safety: No gaskets, welds, or joints in the core, eliminating common failure points and ensuring leak-proof performance.
