Why choose photo chemical etching process?


As a manufacturer, both quality and cost control are of vital importance. Compared with traditional stamping and laser cutting processes, the etching process can ensure burr-free, stress-free and no tooling fees. Especially in the initial stage of the model, parts often need to be tested and modified multiple times. If the stamping process is adopted, it will incur high tooling fees and mold modification fees. However, the etching process has no tooling fees and allows for flexible design modifications. The delivery time for samples can be completed within a few days.


What is Chemical Etching?
Chemical etching is a subtractive manufacturing process that uses controlled chemical reactions to selectively remove material, creating precise, complex parts.


Our Etching Process Steps:

  1. Material Prep: Clean and degrease metal sheets.
  2. Photoresist Coating: Apply UV-sensitive resist.
  3. Exposure: Transfer flow field design via photomask.
  4. Development: Remove unexposed resist to reveal etching areas.
  5. Etching: Immerse in etchant to dissolve unprotected metal.
  6. Strip & Clean: Remove residual resist and polish.
  7. QC Inspection: Validate dimensions, conductivity, and surface finish.
