A 1100W motor drives the spindle at 9/24 RPM two-speed output to cut accurate BSPT or NPT tapered threads on water, electric and gas steel pipe. It combines threading, cutting and reaming in one unit, with automatic die heads and a recirculating cooling oil system for clean, repeatable threads on the job site or in the workshop.

Operation Guide

• Set the machine level and mount it on the stand; check the die head is locked in position.
• Clamp the pipe in the front and rear chucks on the centerline.
• Select the correct chaser set (2-1/2"-4" or 5"-6") and install the dies in the die head per the numbers.
• Start the motor; at 9/24 RPM the die head advances and cuts the tapered thread.
• Watch the cooling oil flow at the die head and keep the oil tank filled.
• When the thread length is reached, open the automatic die head and stop the machine.
• Remove the pipe and check the thread with a thread gauge.
