Laird's High Frequency (HFB-) Cylindrical EMI Cable Cores are designed for effective EMI suppression on round cables and wiring harnesses. Optimized for the 300 MHz to 2 GHz frequency range, these solid ferrite cores offer excellent impedance performance. They are suitable for various electronic industry sectors including handset, telecommunications, IT, automotive, public safety, consumer, medical, rail, mining, and industrial markets. The use of high-performance ferrite material allows for smaller, lighter, and more cost-effective solutions compared to lower-performance materials. These cores are designed to slide easily over the cable's outside dimensions for simple installation.

Laird's High Frequency (HFA-) Split/Snap-On EMI Cores in Plastic Cases are designed for EMI suppression on round cables and wiring harnesses, particularly for retrofit and post-assembly operations where cores cannot be slid over cable ends. These cores offer performance comparable to one-piece cylindrical designs and provide excellent common and differential mode high frequency EMI suppression in the 300 MHz to 2 GHz range. The integrated black plastic snap-on cases ensure secure closure onto the cable or wire bundle.
