Technical Requirements

  • Standard environmental conditions: Standard atmospheric conditions (253, 86kPa~106 kPa atmospheric pressure, 6520% standard humidity), unless otherwise specified.
  • Standard Charge: Constant current (280mA) to upper limit voltage, then constant voltage until charging current 0.02A.
  • Standard Discharge: Constant current (300mA) to termination voltage.

Soldering Conditions

Recommended for flow welding. Low-temperature welding within a short time. Do not backflow weld when voltage is above 0.3V. Consult manufacturer for detailed reflow soldering conditions.

Cautions For Use

  • Read specification carefully before use; do not exceed specified ranges to prevent failure, heat, leakage, fire, or explosion.
  • Prohibition of disassembly: Never disassemble cells to avoid internal short circuits, heating, ignition, or gas release. Electrolyte is harmful; flush with water and seek medical advice if contact occurs.
  • Prohibition of dumping into fire: Never incinerate cells due to fire hazard.
  • SuperCapacitor cell replacement: Must be performed by the manufacturer or equipment supplier.
  • Strictly prohibited to reverse charge or short-circuit terminals.
  • Fully charge new products or products stored for a long time before use.
  • Use dedicated test equipment for testing.
  • Do not knock, toss, stamp, or place in washing machines or high-pressure vessels.
  • Immediately stop use/testing and isolate if heat, odor, discoloration, deformation, or other abnormalities occur.
  • Transport and Storage: Store at room temperature, charged 50%-80%. Recharge every six months for long-term storage. Avoid contact with corrosive substances, fire, and heat sources. Prevent moisture during transport. Storage temperature: -20~50, RH < 65%. Pack in boxes, prevent vibration, impact, extrusion, sun, and rain.
  • Installation and Welding: Ensure connections do not short-circuit. Avoid excessive heat during welding (260, 5s for 1.6mm PCB). Clean after welding. Avoid positive/negative terminal short circuits during welding (300~320, 3s). Minimize pin re-welding. Fix cells by their largest surface area; no movement allowed. No sharp edges inside the housing.
  • Short circuit judgment: A short-circuited capacitor cannot be charged/discharged. Applying DC voltage does not increase capacitance voltage. New capacitors may show a short circuit indication on an ohmmeter in the uncharged state; observe resistance increase to determine if it's a true short.
  • Series and Parallel Operation: For series connection of identical units: Total Voltage = N x Unit Voltage; Total Capacity = Unit Capacity / N; Total Energy = N x Unit Energy; Total ESR = N x Unit ESR. Voltage balancing circuits are required for 3+ series units. Different specification units cannot be used in series. For parallel connection: Different capacitance values can be paralleled with the same charging voltage. Pay attention to current balance and isolation between units to prevent reverse charging.
  • Consult manufacturer for other usage issues.
  • Handling of leakage: Skin contact: wash with soap and water. Eye contact: flush with water/saline and seek medical advice. Ingestion: rinse mouth and seek medical advice. If overheating or odor is detected, disconnect power/load, allow to cool, and handle properly. Avoid contact with hot surfaces.
