The MPX X2 series capacitors are designed for suppressing electromagnetic interference in power supplies. These metallized polypropylene film capacitors feature a non-inductive winding structure, excellent self-healing properties, and the ability to withstand high voltage surges. Encased in a flame-retardant plastic shell and epoxy resin, they are ideal for interference suppression and X-class (X2) cross-line capacitor circuits, particularly in applications where capacitor failure would not pose a shock hazard. Typical applications include interference suppressors and cross-line capacitor circuits.
