The ARCOL HS Aluminium Housed Resistors are designed for direct heatsink mounting to achieve maximum performance, manufactured in line with MIL 18546 and IEC 115 requirements. These resistors offer high power-to-volume ratio and are wound to maximize high pulse capability. They are suitable for applications requiring robust power dissipation and are RoHS compliant. The range is available in ohmic values from R005 to 100K, with custom designs welcome. For optimal heat transfer, a heat sink compound is recommended between the resistor base and the heat sink mounting surface to prevent exceeding the maximum hot spot temperature of 200C.
