The WDBR-UL Series offers ultra-low profile thick-film on steel power resistors designed for demanding applications such as dynamic braking, inrush limiting, and snubber circuits. These resistors feature a robust construction with a high integrity dielectric layer on a stainless-steel substrate, providing high isolation even after overload fusing. They are available with flying lead or solder terminations and boast a low inductance design. Compliant with RoHS and UL508 certified, they offer a failsafe open circuit mechanism under overload conditions while maintaining 1kV dielectric withstand.
