The Bel Fuse SCS series represents a new line of high-frequency Surface Mount Current Sensing Transformers, specifically designed for operating frequencies ranging from 50kHz to 1MHz. These transformers offer a compact and cost-effective solution for accurately sensing current flow in a non-invasive manner within power supply, feedback control, safety, and control circuits. Available in the SCS4.4, SCS4.6, and SCS8.3 series, they feature the smallest footprint and most compact size on the market, enabling precise current detection from 7A up to 15A. Their low DC resistance and suitability for automatic pick-and-place processes make them ideal for various applications including switching power supplies, DC-DC converters/chargers, motor control, and overload sensing.
