Product Overview
Our handlamp impact tester complies with IEC60598-2-8:2007 standards (section 8.6.6.2 and Figure 1) for evaluating the durability of portable luminaires. This wall-mounted testing device requires secure installation on a solid brick, stone, or concrete surface and is manually operated.

Testing Procedure
1. Suspend the handlamp (without lamp) by its cord with point A touching the bar's corner (400mm suspension height)
2. Pull the lamp away until the cord is horizontal, then release to impact the bar
3. Repeat three times at point A, then at points B and C
4. Verify the lamp remains safe and functional
5. Repeat entire test at 1000mm suspension height
6. Confirm protective components remain in place (minor bending acceptable)
7. Glass/clear cover breakage is acceptable if not the sole protection
