The 2B6910-3/4 refer festo EB-250-185 balloon cylinder is a single-acting balloon cylinder. It is used for work in heavy, dusty conditions and under water. It is used as an elastic element or for vibration damping. When the bellows actuator is supplied with constant pressure, it acts as a damping component.
Features
simple design of two metal plates with attached rubber bellows without sealing components and moving mechanical parts.
the design is characterized by a small vertical dimension and smooth movement without the Stick-Slip effect (jerky movement);
balloon cylinders always work against the load and at the end of the stroke must have limit stops to avoid breakage;
do not require return springs, since reset is achieved by applying an external force;
the device can work in an arc, but the set angle of inclination must not be exceeded;
