How to choose the right model without wasting?
Check the rated power of your pump or fan motor (marked on the machine). Choose an ATV212 model with the same power or slightly higher. For example, a 0.75kW fan pairs with ATV212W075N4; a 30kW pump works with HD30N4 or WD30N4 (choose WD series for outdoor use).
Will the inverter break if installed outdoors or in humid places?
For ordinary indoor areas, the IP21 HD/HU series is sufficient. For outdoor, dusty, or humid locations, select the UL Type 12/IP55 protection WD/WU series, which has better waterproof and dustproof performance.
How to adjust parameters during use?
Use the supporting remote panel or SoMove software to adjust maximum speed by entering desired values directly. For automatic temperature/pressure control, set PID parameters easily—the inverter adjusts speed automatically without manual monitoring.
Can it connect to existing control systems?
The ATV212 comes with Modbus protocol as standard, supported by most common control systems. For BMS systems requiring BACnet® or LonWorks, choose the corresponding optional protocol version when purchasing.
What if it suddenly shuts down during operation?
Common causes include overload (pump jamming, fan blades stuck), phase failure (poor wire contact), or dry pump operation. Cut power, check for jams, clean debris, check terminal blocks, or add water before restarting. The built-in protection function prevents burnout.
