The 32008 tapered roller bearing is a high-precision heavy-duty mechanical component engineered for large-medium duty machinery operating in harsh and complex conditions. Structural Design
Rolling Elements

Features larger-sized tapered rollers manufactured from high-carbon chromium bearing steel (GCr15SiMn) with superior hardenability and toughness. Through strict heat treatment, rollers achieve surface hardness of HRC58-64 and core hardness of HRC30-45, ensuring excellent wear and impact resistance.

Raceways

Both inner and outer rings feature matched tapered raceways with optimized cone angles. The raceways undergo advanced heat-treatment processes including carburizing, quenching, and tempering to form a uniform hardened layer (2-4mm depth) with surface hardness of HRC58-64.

Cage

Utilizes high-strength steel cage precision-machined using CNC equipment. Advanced designs feature corrosion-resistant surface treatments or brass cages for high-temperature applications up to 200°C.

Installation Requirements

Maintenance Guidelines
Lubrication Management

Use high-quality lithium-based grease (NLGI 3) for general applications, filling 1/3-1/2 of bearing space. For high-temperature environments (150-200°C), use synthetic polyurea-based grease. Lubrication intervals: 2-4 months for normal use, 1 month for harsh conditions.

Regular Inspection

Monitor vibration levels (normal: ≤2.5mm/s) and bearing temperature. Stop equipment if vibration exceeds 4mm/s or temperature rises above 100°C. Conduct ultrasonic testing every 3 months for critical equipment.

Storage Requirements

Store in clean, dry environment (5-25°C, humidity ≤50%) in original packaging. Store horizontally with maximum 2-layer stacking. Inspect every 3 months for rust or moisture.
