The MOOG SM2301D belongs to MOOG Animatics Class5 D-style integrated SmartMotor series with standard NEMA23 mounting flange. It is an all-in-one compact servo unit integrating motor body, servo amplifier, motion controller, Hall position feedback circuit and 24VDC electromagnetic holding brake inside single housing, eliminating external separate servo driver, independent controller and extra brake module.
This servo realizes closed-loop speed, torque and positioning control via onboard programmable program, the built-in 24VDC holding brake locks output shaft tightly under power-off status to prevent position slipping; Hall sensor feedback continuously captures rotor real-time position to guarantee stable commutation & precise positioning. Widely used for fixed-point positioning, intermittent reciprocating drive and vertical-axis anti-drop transmission on precision automated equipment.
