MITSUBISHI QH42P Mixed Digital Input/Output Module for MELSEC-Q Series PLC
The QH42P is an integrated sink-type digital I/O expansion module exclusively developed for Mitsubishi MELSEC-Q Series PLC control platforms.
It integrates 32 digital input channels and 32 digital output channels into a single unit, serving as the signal transmission interface between the Q series CPU and field discrete sensors, switches, solenoid valves, indicator lamps and small actuators.
This module collects 24VDC digital on/off signals from on-site detection equipment and outputs 12–24VDC driving signals to field execution components, realizing signal collection, equipment interlock and logic switching control for automated production systems. It occupies only one slot of the Q series base unit to simplify cabinet wiring and reduce panel space occupation.

Overcurrent and surge suppression circuits equipped on each channel to resist instantaneous voltage impact from motors and frequency converters, preventing module burnout.
Real-time Fault Diagnosis Function
Detects output short-circuit, abnormal input voltage and channel disconnection automatically, feeds corresponding error codes to PLC CPU for quick maintenance.
Full Compatibility with Q Series iQ Platform
Plug-and-play with all MELSEC-Q series base units, perfectly matched with Q03UDVCPU and all Q series CPU modules; parameter configuration supported by GX Works2 / GX Works3 programming software.
