Product Overview
The ACS880-01-246A-3 is a wall-mounted low voltage single drive from ABB’s universal ACS880 drive series, engineered for standalone installation to regulate three-phase industrial AC motors. Designed for direct wall mounting without additional cabinet housing, this unit delivers a nominal power output of 132 kW with 246 A continuous output current under 400 V three-phase supply.
Powered by ABB’s patented Direct Torque Control (DTC) technology, it delivers precise speed, torque and closed-loop position control for induction, permanent magnet and synchronous reluctance motors. Integrating standard Safe Torque Off (STO), built-in EMC filter and cooling fans, this all-in-one wall drive simplifies on-site installation, wiring and commissioning for OEM machinery and factory process equipment. It supports dual duty ratings for both variable torque fan/pump loads and heavy constant torque production equipment.
