The main motor drives the bowl to turn at full speed. The materials are introduced from the feeding pipe and are evenly spread onto the inner filter screen wall of the bowl. Under the action of centrifugal force, after passing through the filter screen and bowl filtration pores, the liquids are discharged outside the machine from the liquid discharging pipe at the housing. The solids are retained in the bowl and form circular filter cakes. When turning at the same speed as the pushing disc, the bowl is pushed by the piston to continuously make axial reciprocating movements. The filter cakes are pushed to move outside the bowl and discharged out of the machine from the bottom of the housing.

The main motor drives the inner and outer bowls to rotate at the full speed the feed, then feed the material through the feed pipe and distribute it on the inside part filter screen of the inner bowl uniformly. Under the centrifugal force, the liquid is discharged out from the filtration pores of the bowl through filter screen and then out of the machine through the liquid discharge pipe, while the solid deposits in the Inner bowl and forms a ring layer of cake. As the inner and outer bowls rotate at the same speed, the inner one, pushed by the pistion, reciprocates axially and repeatedly. As a result, pusher plate pushes the cake layer from the inner bowl to outer bowl for further separation. A ring layer of cake being formed, while the outside section of the inner bowl pushes the cake layer into the outer bowl continuously, then discharges it through the slot by scraping.
Pusher centrifuge can be divided into horizontal pusher single-stage, two-stage or three-stage that is operating continuously. They can perform feeding, filtration, washing and discharging in sequence at their full-speed running. They have the advantages of continuous operation, stable performance, large capacity, ideal washing effect, low moisture content of cake and less solid content loss. They are suitable for separating the suspension with solid particle size of more than 00.8mm, with the concentration rate of over 40 %. Suitable for industries such as chemical engineering, chemical fertilizers, alkali and salt making, particularly for the solid-liquid separation of sodium Chloride. ammonium chloride, ammonium bicarbonate, sodium sulfate, urea and so on.
