Heating element of industrial furnace, 1700 ℃ MoSi2 electric heating element
Molybdenum Disilicide Heater is a kind of resistance heating element made from Molybdenum Disilicide. It can be exerted under the high temperature of the oxidated atmosphere. MoSi2 heating element rod has the unique function of high temperature anti-oxidation. Under the oxidated atmosphere, the maximum temperature of MoSi2 elements is 1800°C. It can be made into various types, including U-type, W-type, right-angle as well as circular type.
Molybdenum Disilicide Heater is used in the high temperature under oxidizing atmosphere. It will form the SiO2 film which can keep the element from being melted. During the oxidizing process, the SiO2 protecting film is formed again when the element continues to be used. The MoSi2 heating element must not be used in the temperature between 400C and 700C for a long time, otherwise the element will be cremated under the strong oxidizing function in the low temperature.
Industrial Furnace Heating Elements Application
are extensively used in the industries of metallurgy, glass, ceramic refractory,crystal electronic device, industrial furnace manufacture, etc.. It is an essential ideal element when the products are sintering in the high temperature.
Attention: MoSi2 elements can not be used in 400 to 700 °C for a long time, otherwise, it will be powered and damaged due to strong oxidizing action in low temperature.
