A: it is also named a bypass TAP used for automatically switching faulty nodes when power outages or failures take place, this secures the complete optical transmission.
2.Where it is used?
A: It is mainly used to prevent network outages, protect the network or control the networking system in the optical telecommunication.
It can be used in ring or linear fiber network architectures such as railway communication systems, factory automation, and power substations.
3.What are the ordering options?
A: There is SC connector singlemode(4 port), LC singlemode(4 port and 8 port) and LC multimode(4 port and 8 port)for your choice as below photos.
4.Can your optical bypass units work with different switches?
A: Yes, this device is about the optical transmission level and not involving any network protocols.
It can work with any switches of different optical rates(100M/1G/2.5G/10G/25G/40G/100G).
5.If possible to support wall mounting?
A: Yes, the standard installation is DIN rail. We also have a special rear panel with mounting holes for wall mounting.
