There is no software interface, no configuration process, and no learning curve.

Once powered, it starts forwarding traffic immediately.

What It Connects

The switch combines one Fast Ethernet SFP fiber port with two 10/100 Mbps RJ45 copper ports.

The fiber interface supports a wide range of optical distances—from short-range multimode links to long-haul single-mode connections reaching up to 120 km, depending on the optical module.

The copper ports automatically negotiate speed, duplex mode, and MDI/MDIX, allowing direct connection to legacy industrial devices without special cabling.

IM-FS120FE uses a store-and-forward switching mechanism, ensuring that corrupted or invalid packets are filtered before forwarding.

IEEE 802.3x in full-duplex mode

Back pressure in half-duplex mode

This prevents packet loss and maintains stable communication during traffic bursts, even when connected devices operate at different speeds.
