Designed for foundries, workshops, and recycling operations, this crucible melting furnace is the ideal solution for melting aluminum and other low-melting-point non-ferrous metals and alloys. It combines robust construction with precise PID temperature control to ensure consistent, high-quality melts for casting applications.
The furnace features a durable round column steel shell and an advanced lining system. The side walls utilize superlight 0.6g/cm³ refractory bricks and silicate aluminum fiber blocks for exceptional thermal insulation and energy efficiency. The heating system employs high-performance OCr27A17MO2 resistance alloy strips or wires, ensuring stable and powerful heat delivery. At the heart of the melting process is a high-quality Golden Elephant brand SIC graphite crucible, known for its longevity, typically offering a service life of 6 months or more under standard operating conditions.
Control and safety are paramount. The integrated electrical control system, centered on a Taiwan-origin PID temperature controller, provides precise automatic regulation with an accuracy of ±3°C. The system includes crucial safety features like over-temperature protection and fault-based automatic shutdown. A dedicated thermocouple, sheathed in a protective casing, is used to accurately measure the molten aluminum temperature, while another monitors the furnace atmosphere. An emergency outlet hole at the furnace bottom provides an added layer of safety against potential crucible leakage.
