The 16+8 Management Gigabit fiber network switch is a second and fourth layer managed switch, providing 810/100M/1000M RJ45 ports and 16 1000M SFP optical ports. It is capable of wire-speed handling of the second layer.
Users can utilize the Ethernet port to configure various functions on the switch via the WEB. An ARP and DOS countermeasure system is built-in to defend against ARP, DOS, and various virus attacks. It also has a range of powerful features like comprehensive QoS, spanning tree, storm suppression, bandwidth control, IGMP snooping, ACL access control, and DHCP snooping, making the switch very suitable for small and medium enterprises, campus networks, and metro area network aggregation scenarios.
ARP defense: To effectively defend the ARP attack, the function of MAC address and port binding and MAC address security filtering is necessary. DHCP snooping can provide ARP protection for users to obtain the MAC dynamically.
Qos: Multiple QOS strategies are supported. To reach the comprehensive QOS, the 802.1p priority setting is used, meaning that each port provides eight priority queues. According to the IP header, IP-DSCP can be divided into different service levels. Moreover, AUTO VOIP can set the port to the highest priority of the voice signal, highly improving the voice quality of network IP telephone.
Spanning Tree: To build bridge between the nodes, the IEEE 802.1d, IEEE 802.1w (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol) and IEEE802.1s (Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol) can be used.
AUTO DOS: Seven different forms of AUTO DOS are used to defense the following DOS attack. The Land attack, in which the attacker sends forged TCP SYN packets of information flow with the same source IP address, IP destination address, leads to a system disturbance that will paralyze or restart the victim system. The Blat attack, in which the attacker sends forged packets with the same source port number and destination port number, will cause system crashes or restart. The Smurf attack is a kind of ping process to a broadcast address operated by spoofed source address of attack target, which leads to network congestion or disruption. Ping flood is used to flooding the target system by the ping broadcast storms, distrupting the system and making it unable to repond to legitimate correspondences. The SYN/SYN-ACk flood sends flooding the whole target system by SYN or SYN/ACK packets. The invlid TCP attack is prevented by defend the flood of data caused by the invalid TCP packets. The Ping of Death attack sends a very large ICMP request packets ("Ping") to cause target computer input buffer overflow that leads to computer's paralysis.
