Overview

The E-link LNK-TX500 and LNK-RX500 form a professional HD-SDI Repeaters system, specifically
engineered to extend the transmission distance of high-definition SDI signals in broadcast, surveillance,
and live production scenarios. As dedicated HD-SDI Repeaters, this paired solution addresses the signal
attenuation issue of standard SDI cables, enabling reliable long-distance signal delivery without quality loss.

The LNK-TX500 serves as the signal transmitting terminal of the HD-SDI Repeaters, while the LNK-RX500
functions as the receiving terminal—working in tandem to amplify and regenerate HD-SDI signals. Adhering
to SMPTE industry standards (e.g., SMPTE 292M for HD-SDI), the HD-SDI Repeaters support stable
transmission of HD-SDI signals over standard 75Ω BNC coaxial cables, with a maximum effective distance
of up to 500 meters.

Equipped with advanced signal processing technologies—including re-timing, equalization, and signal
shaping—the HD-SDI Repeaters compensate for signal degradation caused by long cable runs, ensuring
consistent signal integrity (resolution up to 1080p@60Hz) from source to end device. The LNK-TX500 easily
connects to HD-SDI signal sources such as professional cameras, video switchers, or media servers, while the
LNK-RX500 links to displays, DVRs, or broadcast mixers, enabling seamless integration into existing SDI-based
systems.

Designed for professional usability, the HD-SDI Repeaters feature plug-and-play functionality (no software
configuration required) and rugged metal housings that provide electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding—
ideal for high-demand environments like TV studios, live event venues, and large-scale security monitoring centers.​
