E-link's Electric Basic Rack Power Distribution Unit (PDU) is a high-reliability 19 Inch 1U 8 Port
Surge Protection PDU, specifically engineered to distribute stable power to devices installed in 19’’
standard racks—catering to data centers, server rooms, and network wiring closets where efficient
power management and equipment protection are critical. As a 19 Inch 1U 8 Port Surge Protection
PDU, it combines space-saving rack-mount design with essential surge protection, ensuring both
optimal use of rack space and safeguarding of connected devices against voltage spikes.

This PDU features 8 power outlets, providing ample connectivity to power multiple devices (such as
servers, network switches, storage units, or monitoring equipment) simultaneously. Its built-in surge
protector is a key advantage, effectively absorbing and diverting transient voltage surges or spikes
from utility power, generators, or UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems—preventing potential
damage to sensitive electronic equipment and reducing downtime. Designed with universal compatibility,
it supports 10/16A current and a wide voltage range of 100–240V, enabling seamless adaptation to
different regional power grids and delivering stable single-phase AC power to multiple loads, regardless
of the input power source.

The 19 Inch 1U 8 Port Surge Protection PDU adopts a reversible all-metal housing, which not only
enhances structural durability (resisting wear and tear in high-density rack environments) but also
supports versatile mounting options. It can be installed as a 1U horizontal unit in EIA-standard 19-
inch racks (optimizing vertical rack space), mounted under a counter for desktop equipment, or fixed
on a wall or workbench for flexible deployment in non-rack environments—adapting to diverse site
layouts in data centers, server rooms, or network wiring closets.

With its reliable power distribution, robust surge protection, wide voltage compatibility, and flexible
mounting design, this PDU ensures consistent power supply to critical equipment while minimizing
the risk of power-related failures. It is an ideal solution for scenarios requiring centralized, protected
power management, such as enterprise data centers, small-to-medium server rooms, network operation
centers (NOCs), and industrial control cabinets—effectively improving equipment reliability and simplifying
