The LNK-M12G-1V1T1D Series is a compact, high-performance Mini 12G-SDI to Fiber Converter

with Tally and RS485, specifically engineered to integrate multi-signal transmission into a space-saving

form factor—ideal for scenarios where installation space is limited, such as portable broadcast setups,

compact control cabinets, or on-site surveillance deployments. As a Mini 12G-SDI to Fiber Converter with

Tally and RS485, it combines ultra-high-definition (UHD) video transmission capabilities with essential

auxiliary signals, catering to professional fields that demand both miniaturization and multi-functional

integration.

This converter supports synchronized transmission of 1Ch 12G-SDI video signals (with embedded audio

for seamless audio-video synchronization), 1Ch Tally signal, and 1Ch Backward RS485 data signals via a

single fiber optical cable—eliminating the need for multiple cables, simplifying infrastructure deployment,

and reducing overall installation costs. It is equipped with a local 12G-SDI loop output, allowing users to

monitor the source video signal in real time at the transmitter end. This real-time monitoring function

ensures signal integrity before transmission, facilitates quick troubleshooting in professional workflows,

and avoids potential issues caused by signal loss or degradation.

The Mini 12G-SDI to Fiber Converter with Tally and RS485 is supplied as a complete set, including one

transmitter unit and one receiver unit, to form a full, reliable transmission link. It supports a wide range of

video resolutions and formats, covering HDTV 4K2K (38402160@60Hz) for UHD applications, as well as

lower resolutions such as 1080P, 1080I, and 720P. This broad compatibility ensures backward adaptation

to existing SD/HD/3G-SDI systems, making it flexible enough to meet diverse project requirements—

whether upgrading to UHD or maintaining compatibility with legacy equipment.

The integrated 1Ch Tally signal function is critical for professional broadcast and live production scenarios,

enabling real-time status indication of video sources (such as “on-air” or “preview” status) to ensure smooth

coordination between production teams. Meanwhile, the 1Ch Backward RS485 supports bidirectional serial

data communication, allowing remote control of connected devices like PTZ cameras, studio lighting controllers,

or industrial monitoring equipment. With its compact design, stable multi-signal transmission, and broad format

compatibility, this converter is ideal for professional scenarios including portable broadcast studios, live event

video transmission, large-scale UHD surveillance networks, and remote industrial monitoring systems. It effectively

resists electromagnetic interference (EMI) and signal attenuation over long distances, ensuring consistent UHD
