The MITSUBISHI QD65PD2 is a high-performance, 2-channel multi-function counter/timer module designed for the MELSEC-Q Series PLC platform. It supports an industry-leading maximum counting speed of 8 Mpps (8 million pulses per second) for differential RS-422 line driver inputs (2-phase, 4x multiplication) and up to 200 kpps for standard DC inputs. Engineered for demanding industrial automation applications requiring microsecond-level precision, it seamlessly interfaces with high-resolution encoders, pulse generators, and sensors. The QD65PD2 mounts directly onto the Q Series backplane, enabling real-time, high-precision control for positioning, measurement, and complex motion control tasks.
