The 1756-OW16I is a digital output module from the Allen‑Bradley 1756 ControlLogix I/O series. It provides 16 individually isolated sinking digital outputs for controlling a wide range of industrial field devices. 1756-OW16I Features

High‑Density Point‑by‑Point Isolation: Offers 16 output channels, each with optical isolation from the backplane and from all other channels. This prevents faults on a single output from affecting the module backplane or other channels, increasing system availability.
Comprehensive Diagnostics: Features per‑point status indication via LEDs and provides detailed diagnostic data (such as short‑circuit, open‑load, and overload conditions) to the controller for enhanced troubleshooting and maintenance.
Flexible and Robust Design: Supports a wide 12‑30V DC sourcing field voltage range. The outputs are short‑circuit and overload protected, with the ability to latch the fault state for easy identification of the faulty channel.
Seamless ControlLogix Integration: Installs directly into any 1756 I/O chassis. Configuration, monitoring, and diagnostics are performed natively within the Rockwell Automation Studio 5000 Logix Designer software, providing a unified programming environment.
Removable Terminal Block: Features a removable and reusable terminal block (1756‑TB3 or equivalent) for easy wiring, installation, and maintenance without disturbing field wiring.
