MC-PHAI01 Features
Safety System Interface: Specifically designed to interface discrete high-level alarm signals with Honeywell Safety Manager and FTC series safety controllers, forming a certified part of a Safety Instrumented Function (SIF).
High-Density & Compact Design: Provides a multi-channel interface in a single, space-saving module, allowing multiple alarm points to be connected to the controller backplane efficiently.
Fail-Safe & Diagnostic Monitoring: The module and its input circuits are designed with a fail-safe architecture. It continuously monitors the health of the field wiring and the connected alarm device (dry contact) for critical faults such as open circuits, short circuits, or loss of power, reporting these diagnostics to the controller.
Channel-to-Channel & Field-to-System Isolation: Features high levels of electrical isolation between individual input channels and between the field wiring and the sensitive controller backplane. This prevents faults, noise, or voltage transients in one channel or field device from affecting others or damaging the controller.
