The IC693MDL750 module is a 32-point I/O module. It is part of a series of digital I/O modules from GE Fanuc which are designed for use with the Series 90-30 programmable logic controllers. The IC693MDL750 module can be installed in any slot on a Series 90-30 PLC which has a 5 slot or a 10-slot baseplate. There are no LED indicators on the module. Connections from output circuits can be made to output devices through a 50-pin connector that is mounted on the front of the IC693MDL750 module. The output characteristics of the IC693MDL750 module are compatible with multiple user devices such as motor starters and indicators. Power for the user devices must be supplied by the users. The IC693MDL750 module is rated for 12 to 24 Volts DC and it is a negative logic output module. There are a total of 32 output points in 4 groups of 8. There are 2 common pins for each group.
The IC693MDL750 module sinks current from the user loads to the negative power bus or to the user common and the IC693MDL750 module therefore has negative logic characteristics. The maximum current drawn by the IC693MDL750 module is 21 milliamps (with all the outputs on) from the 5 Volts DC rated bus on the PLC backplane. The maximum output current per point is 0.3 Amps. The maximum output current per common is 2 Amps at 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The value of the peak output voltage drop is 0.24 Volts. GE Faunc recommends storing unused IC693MDL750 modules at an ambient temperature ranging from -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. An enclosure with an IP 54 rating should be used for housing the baseplate with the IC693MDL750 module.
