316L Material Polish Serrated Surface Stainless Steel Grating For Shop
Stainless steel gratings offer exceptional resistance to various substances, making them ideal for diverse applications. They are widely used in food processing, breweries, beverage manufacturing, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and chemical industries. Their uniform, attractive surface also makes them perfect for architectural applications.
Our strongest and most economical stainless product, type WS gratings are made by forge welding rectangular bearing bars and drawn crossbars. The welding process provides a positive fused intersection for years of service under demanding conditions.
Available in 19 spaces (1-3/16"), 15 spaces (15/16"), and 11 spaces (11/16") bearing bar centers. Standard crossbar spacing is 4" on center with optional 2" spacing available.
Type "SL" Swage Locked Stainless Steel Grating
Hollow tube crossbars are hydraulically swaged into pre-punched holes in the bearing bars. This construction provides secure bearing bar/crossbar intersection with bearing bar spacings from 19/16" (1-3/16") to 7/16" on center.
The swaged cross bars sit slightly below the top surface, making this product ideal for "close mesh", ADA conforming applications. 11 spaces and 7 spaces are perfect for vault covers or entrance mats in public areas.
High Inertness
Manufactured using the same process as press-welded gratings from 1.4301 (V2A) grade stainless steel and pickled by total immersion. The passive coating resists water, steam, humidity, food acidifiers, and weak organic/inorganic acids.
Stainless steel gratings require no additional corrosion protection. The chromium forms an invisible oxide layer that provides exceptional corrosion resistance, making them ideal for applications with high corrosion and hygienic requirements.

Common uses include walkways, catwalks, platforms, stairways, entranceways, and trench grating. Ideal for water treatment, chemical processing, oil and gas production, food processing, and outdoor industries.
