Galvanized Steel Grating Clips Specification:

Grating clips to hold down and fix in place our GRP Grating. All made from 316 stainless steel. ‘M’ clip sets come with the clip (that fits over two grating load bars), bolt, nut and washers. ‘C’ clip sets have a threaded nut welded to the underside of the clip and a bolt to secure in place.

M clip also termed as Saddle clip, provides excellent hold-down capability by securing FRP gratings to the support using 2 adjacent bearing bars. We provide M Clips that suit all types of FRP Moulded gratings (Square, Rectangle, Mini & Micro mesh) as well as Pultruded gratings.

Assembly: Standard M Clip comes as set with hex bolt, nut & washer. However, it can also be supplied with self-drilling screw for pilot drilling.

Installation: Insert the M clip in the open mesh FRP grating such that, it sits appropriately on the load bars & the base of the saddle clip is held close to the bottom of the FRP grating panel. For fixing M clip directly into the existing base structure, pilot drill through the hole in the clip and into the substrate then fasten using suitable screw & plug. And, for fixing M clip into a support frame, you will need to drill into the frame, insert the bolt and then tighten the nut & washer underneath the frame.

J Clips

J Clips hold a single bar and are nearly

the same height as the grating. Thus,

these can be pulled down completely to

the support under the grating.

W Clips

W Clips are used for holding down plates

and covered fiberglass gratings.

C Clips

C clips were specifically designed to tie two

panels of molded fiberglass gratings together.

L Clips L clips should be specified to hold one

load bar to the support for lighter duty loads.

M Clips

M clips clamp 2 fiberglass grating

load bars to the support.

G Clips

When drilling the support member has

to be avoided, G clips offer the solution.

The lower jaw of the clip grips the support

flange when the bolt is torqued.

Bolt Holes may distort through forming, but 0.281" diameter pin will pass through 0.312" hole, & 0.328" pin will pass through 0.343" hole
