The 5" (125 × 50 mm) iron core PU caster is the most versatile and widely specified size in the K02 heavy-duty series. It strikes the perfect balance between low-profile stability and obstacle clearance, making it the default choice for mid-weight industrial machines that need occasional repositioning for maintenance, cleaning or production line changes.
With a chemical-bonded orange polyurethane tread (Shore A 90–95) over a solid cast iron core, housed in a 5 mm black painted steel top-plate fork with a 6202 deep groove ball bearing, this wheel delivers900 kg of single-wheel load capacity — a 4-wheel system handles approximately 1,400 kg.
The 5 inch 350kg caster is the industrial "sweet spot" — used on mid-weight standalone machines across metal fabrication, woodworking, electronics, printing and medical equipment sectors.
Rolls over cables, wood chips, metal shavings and floor joints better than 4", while keeping machine height ergonomic for operators. The 350 kg single-wheel rating gives a safe margin for machines weighing 800–1,200 kg on a 4-wheel configuration. PU at Shore A 90 absorbs vibration from laser coolers, spindle motors and compressor pumps.
This 5 inch heavy duty iron core PU caster is designed for mid-weight industrial equipment mobility inside factories and workshops. It is widely used on fiber laser cutting machines, CO2 laser engravers, sliding table saws, thickness planers, VFD control cabinets, PLC panels, welding tables, fitters benches, mold storage racks, injection molding auxiliary hopper carts, printing machine stands, die-cutting machines and portable medical imaging trolleys. The cast iron core carries the weight; the polyurethane tread cushions vibration from laser resonators, spindle motors and vacuum pumps while leaving no black mark on the floor. Working temperature -20 °C to +80 °C covers cold workshop mornings and summer metal shops. For food grade, washdown, seawater or outdoor use, switch to stainless steel caster — this model is strictly for dry industrial duty.
